God and the Law of Attraction

Hello,
You may have just learned about the law of attraction, or you heard about the book “The Secret,” and may have even seen the movie.
If you have stayed away from the writings and works of others and been hesitant about learning about the law of attraction because it seemed “new age” or too metaphysical due to an absence of critically important information being included in others work, you have come to the right place to learn more about putting the law of attraction together with your belief in God.
If you are a person that believes in God, prays to God and worships God and Jesus Christ, I feel it is extremely important that as you study the law of attraction that you make sure you include your beliefs in the formula!
I think the movie “The Secret” is an excellent movie and I am grateful it is reaching so many people.
One thing bothered me as I began my quest to understand how we are “creators” of our reality….where did God fit into all of this.
Nobody was talking about God the Father, God the Son, Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Ghost, which is the Godhead in my belief system.
It began to appear that people teaching this information and their students were making the law of attraction God.
This did not settle with me and I began to prayerfully seek to find the answers. As I prayed and searched the truth I had already embraced in my religious and spiritual foundations, the answers began to come.
Some may ask “where does God fit in to the law of attraction?” when the appropriate question is “where does the law of attraction fit in with God?”
The answers are simple yet profound. I began to understand that God is the supreme creator that abides by this same law. He has power over the law, yet lives in complete perfection of it, because it is a perfect law, designed perfectly to support us in our experience of learning through our agency here on this earth.
God created the Universe. The Universe works by laws. The law of attraction or what can also be called the law of creation is in operation in every sphere of the Universe.
We are residents of the planet earth that is housed in the Universe, which makes us subject to this perfect law.
I have been studying the law of attraction for a decade and a half now.
I have read the materials of some of the most well-known teachers of the law of attraction, Esther Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Gregg Braden, Louis Hay as well as some others over the years.. And most recently have enjoyed watching the movie “The Secret” several times.
In 1999, I was inspired to write my second book, “Remembering Wholeness: A Personal Handbook for Thriving in the 21st Century.” In 2003 I released an updated expanded edition. We have already sold over 75,000 books, mostly word of mouth since there is no other book that so honestly brings God, Christ, and the Holy Ghost together with the law of attraction.

I could go on and on, Remembering Wholeness is a book that I still read and learn from. I am grateful to have been able to write an amazing book that still teaches me.

Dear Carol,
“The secret” gives all credit to becoming what ever a person wishes without giving Heavenly Father any credit or acknowledging Him in the process. The CD only gives God an after thought in the program, and mostly said you do not need God, you can do this all on your own and you deserve to have what ever you want, on your own.
I liked your program because you give credit to Heavenly Father, which is using proper principles. Your program is much better and if people follow it they will indeed receives all they desire because they are giving the credit to our Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus. Warm hugs,

Dear Carol,
Just wanted to add my ‘ditto’ to the message sent in by Joyce in Oregon. I have watched The Secret many, many times and feel that I can take from it what I need or want and if there is something that doesn’t feel quite right, that I can put that particular piece aside and still accept the concept as true and GREAT!
I have found, however, that some people see it more as having to accept the whole or reject the whole. No grey, just right or wrong. Some have tossed the whole concept out the window for exactly the reason that Joyce states in her email, which is lack of God in the picture.
Because of my experiences I have now changed my plan of action. Instead of introducing The Secret first, it’s now Remembering Wholeness first and secret second and then only if they really are open to seeing it and accepting it as it is and for what they can learn from it. When people read RW first and then they watch The Secret the responses are much better.
One woman said that she was glad that she read the book first because it opened her mind in a spiritual way and then the information in The Secret was easier to accept as true because the initial priority had been set in place, i.e., God first.
Thanks Carol for ’setting’ the priority. Even if we don’t all recognize God first in our lives at this time, deep, deep down inside of each of us, our spirits know He really is there.
